Become a Licensed Esthetician in Maryland

Our hybrid program combines live online classes with in-person clinic hours that you complete with licensed estheticians near you. It is a 600+ hour board-approved program at a state-approved school, and you finish ready to sit for your Maryland license.

You pick the track that fits your life. Our full-time program is completed in six months. Our part-time program is completed in nine months. Both follow a set class schedule, so you always know exactly where you need to be.

Through our preceptorship, you treat real clients in a real licensed Maryland business before you graduate, working alongside a licensed professional who becomes your mentor and your professional reference as you launch your new career.

Every instructor here holds an active Maryland license and still works in the treatment room. PRO+ Skin Academy was founded and is run by estheticians, not a company that added a beauty program, so everything you learn comes from people who do this work every day. When you have a question, you are asking someone who was standing in front of a real client last week.

Why Our Hybrid Program Works.

Most schools ask you to move your life to their building. We built the opposite. Your classes are online and your in-person hours happen with a licensed esthetician near you, so a student in Frederick, one in Salisbury, and one in Baltimore can all train with us without relocating.

What that looks like depends on your track. Full-time students finish in six months, and we ask them to focus fully on the program rather than work during it. Part-time students finish in nine months and have more room to balance work and life. Either way, you complete more than one preceptorship, so you graduate with real experience and a resume that shows it.
